About Me
Wynton Jackson is a senior at Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native majors in journalism and minors in leadership studies.
Jackson is a graduate of the Sports Journalism Institute hosted at Arizona State University, where he learned from industry professionals such as ESPN's Michael Wilbon, Indiana University Indianapolis' Malcolm Moran, and Andscape's Marc Spears.
He interned at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the largest newspaper in Wisconsin, where he wrote stories about the Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers football, and Marquette men’s and women’s basketball.
Jackson has written for ClutchPoints.com and The Hampton Script student newspaper. He was a student content creator for HBCU Pulse, ClutchPoints' HBCU division, mainly covering football, basketball, and culture. With the Script, Jackson has been a contributor, sports editor, and web editor.
